Special Programs

Special Programs:
East Meets West has developed several customized programs for the student with special teaching needs. All of our special lesson programs are designed around the individual student. All of these programs are private 1 hour sessions.

First Time Horse Owners (My Daughter Wants A Horse?):
These programs are designed for people who have purchased a horse and are unsure as what to do next.
The need for an instructor, need for horse training, need boarding, and on and on. We can assist you by sorting it all out and pointing you in the right direction.

Working Student Program:
The working student program has no fee involved. This is set up for select students that have successfully completed a one year of training by maintaining 6 to 8 lessons each month. Each student must meet all requirements of respect, responsibility, and willingness to work and learn. Students are interviewed after application or are accepted by invitation to the program due to their exceptional riding ability.
The privileges of the working student gives them many hours at the ranch schooling horses, assisting with lessons and learning how to give instructions. Caring for many different horses, and so much more. This is a wonderful opportunity for furthering your horse knowledge by working from the ground up. This program was designed for the dedicated youth of the new generation of horsemen and horsewomen.

Club Badges:
We can accommodate any Girl Scout or Boy Scout Merit Badge Requirements.
Such as:
Horsemanship,
Horse Fan,
Horse Rider
and more!

Field Trips:
We will also accommodate field trips from nursery school on up for several hours of fun filled information, horse handling and riding.

Backyard Horse Owners Network:
People owning a horse and keeping them at home can sometimes become isolated from the busy and social environment of a boarding facility. We would like to develop a helping hands network of horse owners in need of assistance, who are in need of relief work, want to buy in bulk, or don't have a trailer and need for an instructor to come to your home. Many of us are willing to barter services, volunteer services or charge for services that you may require. The East Meets West Riding Team would like to have horse owners to participate in networking with each other and others in need. Lets be a TEAM, Together Everyone Achieves More.

Consultation:
Available to new farm operators. From Arena Construction to New Barn Building
Prices: $75.00 initial fee
